This painting is about Krishna have boat ride in moonlight with Gopikas. The inspiration for me to paint this picture is one of the episodes in Bhagavatha. Gopikas desire is to spend their time with Sri Krishna. One can view the colorful boat in which Krishna is amused by the musical notes from gopika. The clear,shimmering water of Yamuna river in the moonlit night would attract anyone's attention in this scene. The illuminated palace, garden and courtyard at the backdrop are some of the eye catching features of the paintings. This is my humble effort to bring my imagination of Bhagavatha's narration about Krishna's childhood days and his youth in Vrundavan .oil on canvas
